Join the DMZ on October 24 for our next women in tech peer-to-peer session featuring author, entrepreneur, investor and networking expert, Kelly Hoey.

Lauded everywhere from Forbes (“1 of 5 Women Changing the World of VC/Entrepreneurship”) to Fast Company (“25 Smartest Women On Twitter”), Hoey will be joining us from New York City to address a recurring theme in today’s success stories: networking.

In a fireside chat moderated by Tara Hunt, founder and president of Truly Social Inc., Hoey will leave the audience with a new perspective on networking and practical steps on how to apply it to transform your path as female founders and entrepreneurs.

Through her recent book “Build Your Dream Network,” Hoey will go into the do’s and don’ts of networking, and how your dream network is built not schmoozed. In a city where there are more networking events than ever, and a world where everyone is posting, liking, and friending, this event will help you leverage “strategic curiosity” to build your network as women in the tech and startup community.
