On Thursday, April 20, Toronto will hold its 21st Open Data Book Club… an idea borrowed from Open Data Ottawa.

This concept is the same as a regular book club, but instead of discussing books, we discuss an Open Data Sets from either the Municipal, Provincial, or Federal levels of government.

This month we are looking at the City of Toronto Sidewalk Inventory. It is a geospatial dataset which contains information about streets within the city; where they are located and which side(s) of the street actually have a sidewalk.

Luckily, we will have Brian Nguyen from the City of Toronto in attendance to listen to your feedback and to provide context on the data set. Feel free to contact him if you have any questions or comments:

1) Have a look at this data set.

2) Create a visualization or analysis based on its content. Do not hesitate to add layers from other data sets.

3) Come to the meetup and showcase your work.
