BusinessCast, one of Canada’s leading podcasts for entrepreneurs, has moved to the DMZ at Ryerson, North America’s number one university-based incubator and third in the world, after a five year partnership with PROFIT/Canadian Business Magazine.
Now ‘BusinessCast powered by DMZ,’ the podcast aims to create engaging discussions by interviewing some of the most influential entrepreneurs, experts and storytellers in the tech and startup ecosystem.
“We could not think of a better partner than the DMZ to bring new voices to our podcast and expand our reach in providing engaging and valuable insights to entrepreneurs in Canada and abroad,” said Robert Gold, producer and host of BusinessCast powered by DMZ.
‘BusinessCast powered by DMZ,’ which has over 35,000 listeners, will release up to 20 episodes over the next year. The podcast provides entertaining and empowering tech, leadership and entrepreneurial focused content that is action oriented.
“Audio is a meaningful part of reaching the tech and startup community whenever and wherever they want to consume content,” said Abdullah Snobar, executive director of the DMZ at Ryerson University. “We feel this rich narrative medium will not only engage with a larger audience through relevant and value-driven content, but it will also be an important extension of our dynamic network.”
The first episode of BusinessCast powered by DMZ will interview Abdullah Snobar and explore Canada’s recent attention from the international tech industry. Listen to the first episode on the DMZ blog, The Review. For all past and upcoming episodes visit the Soundcloud page.
