This past December, Velocity hosted the Fall 2016 Velocity Fund Finals (VFF), a pitch competition that awards $125,000 each term to help startups build their business.
This past Wednesday and Thursday, students from across the University of Waterloo participated in the Velocity Fund $5K Qualifiers. Of the 30+ students who pitched their innovative ideas, 10 finalists were selected by a panel of judges to move on and compete at the Velocity Fund Finals on March 30th for their chance to win one of three $5,000 prizes.
This was first presented at the January 2017 TechTO.
At its most recent meetup, TechToronto invited Sulon CEO Dhan Balachand to explain the differences in augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality.
