In celebration of Toronto’s 150th birthday, InnovateTO150 invites innovation-minded entrepreneurs and changemakers to learn and engage with successful startups in Toronto and other experienced entrepreneurs.

Enterprises and startup companies attending InnovateTO150 will demonstrate how their ideas, services, technologies, and products will shape the next 150 years for Toronto, Ontario and beyond.

The City of Toronto is organizing the InnovativeTO150 Showcase in partnership with the Toronto-based universities. The Showcase will take place on November 3, 2017 at Design Exchange venue.

Registration for participation in the Showcase is open now and the deadline in October 16, 2017, 11:59 PM. Apply at http://innovateto150.ca.

The one-day showcase is free to participate and will feature two pitch competitions and a total of $50,000 in Awards. 

Participation in both the InnovateTO150 Showcase and the competitions are open to students and alumni of all ages, from all academic institutions. Some conditions apply. There are no admission fees or exhibition booths fees. 

InnovateTO150 represents a new collaborative partnership between the City of Toronto, OCAD Univeristy, Ryerson University, the University of Toronto, and York University. This collaboration aims to deliver the innovation and showcase initiative with a local and national impact.

This collaboration leverages the significant infrastructure and programs already available on each of the campuses for entrepreneurs, and offers exposure and targeted supports to entrepreneurs and innovators from across the four institutions and the city.

The initiative will enable innovation-minded entrepreneurs to apply their ideas and discoveries to shape the next 150 years for the city, the country, and beyond. More information is available at innovateto150.ca
