Join us at AWE Nite TO on January 24 for our first AR event of 2019 hosted at StartWell.

We are really excited to be kicking off the new year with a bang with a presentation and demo from North, makers of Focals smart glasses. Focals are one of the most anticipated AR products of the year and this is a unique opportunity to hear from the team and go hands-on with the product.

This event will also feature a presentation and demo from The MRsive Project. Pizza and beer will be served courtesy of Super Ventures!

A huge thank you to StartWell, IDEABOOST, Super Ventures, AugmentedReality.org, Impossible Things, MSRV.io and Xesto for making this event possible.

MRsive Project – The AGO Immersive Tour – is an MR/AR activated solution for indoor wayfinding within complex architectural spaces such as museums, airports, hospitals etc. The MRsive project is part of Jad Rabbaa's thesis and research, currently in the development and user-testing stage being conducted at the Art Gallery of Ontario – AGO. The MRsive project not only explores how might Augmented Reality make wayfinding experience at the AGO more intuitive but also implements different AR multisensory interactions to engage visitors with the different artifacts in the space.
