Seeking Input from Indigenous Entrepreneurs – Help Shape Toronto’s Indigenous Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Working with the local Indigenous community, the City of Toronto is seeking input and ideas from Indigenous entrepreneurs to help develop the Indigenous Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

The planned Indigenous Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is envisioned as a space to support Indigenous entrepreneurs looking to build businesses, social enterprises and not-for-profits, by providing access to resources, advisory support and workspace.

Understanding what types of resources and support Indigenous entrepreneurs require though is the first step. To help shape the planned Indigenous Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the City of Toronto wants to hear from Indigenous entrepreneurs to better understand their needs, desire and thoughts on how to create a space that can support Indigenous entrepreneurs across Canada.
