Toronto’s 6th Annual Premiere Digital Content Festival and Conference Lands at TIFF Bell Lightbox this July 11th-13th, 2019.

July 11 – 13th marks the 6th annual T.O. WebFest, this year at TIFF Bell Lightbox. Hundreds of podcasters, and web series creators will gather from across Canada and around the world to screen their series, partake in the festival’s Industry Spotlight /Fireside Chats with Aron Levitz of Wattpad Studios, Gave Lindo of CBC GEM, Colin McRae and Jason Ford of Shopify Studios. Panel Programming on Funding with CMF, Ontario Creates and IPF, Professional Development, Pitch This, Inclusivity, Pocasting, Workshop with ACTRA Toronto. Plus the T.O. WebFest 2019 Awards Show on Saturday, July 13th.

This year’s Official Selections include 49 outstanding Canadian series and podcasts and international productions based in United States, New Zealand, Australia, Switzerland, Spain, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.

The festival is Executive Produced by Mariah Owen and presented by The Independent Web Creators of Canada – a creator driven, audience focused non-profit association helping advance digital content creation in Canada, in partnership with the Ontario Media Development Corporation,Telefilm Canada, Independent Production Fund and Canadian Media Fund. The IWCC celebrates, connects and promotes digital content creators in Canada and helps provide a platform for their works internationally.

T.O. WebFest’s chief purpose is to provide an inclusive space for emerging and established creators to pave the way toward a stronger, more connected digital media ecosystem in Canada and beyond. We’ve helped build a platform that provides business opportunities and educational opportunities for Canada’s diverse storytellers to better fund and distribute their content internationally.
