The City of Toronto is developing a new 10-year public art strategy to renew its vision for and commitment to public art, and plan for a Year of Public Art in 2021. Please join us for a public meeting to help shape the strategy's recommendations.

Public Art Walk (6:30 – 7:00) (optional)

Join a walking tour of the area to consider how West Queen West's public spaces can be reimagined through public art. The walk will depart from the front door to the Theatre Centre (1115 Queen Street West) promptly at 6:30 pm.

Public Art Strategy Kick-off + Panel Discussion (7:00 – 9:00) (registration opens at 6:30)

Hear from a panel of artists and art consultants about their experience working in public art, and their vision for the future. The panel is moderated by artist and educator Jennie Suddick. Then, learn more about public art and provide feedback on the new strategy and Year of Public Art in breakout discussions and through arts activities.

Light refreshments will be provided.
