Insurance comparison website Kanetix, in partnership with, has piloted an AI and machine learning solution to enhance customer experience and improve marketing ROI. Kanetix will now scale this technology across the organization and bring it to its insurance partners.

The initial pilot started in September 2017, and targeted consumers on the car insurance comparison website that were on the fence about purchasing auto insurance. Based on the website’s pool of data, configured its platform to predict which customers were likely to convert and their preferred method of transacting, allowing to provide a tailored buying experience.

Over the course of the pilot period, the efficacy of the platform’s predictions improved by approximately 38 percent, and experienced a conversion increase in auto insurance transactions of 13 percent. is now running 100 per cent of its Ontario auto insurance quotes through’s platform.
