HumberLaunch, Humber’s business incubator, is expanding its program to provide services to entrepreneurs throughout the western GTA, thanks to a grant from Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE).

Last month, Humber College and HumberLaunch announced a $200,000 grant awarded through OCE’s On-Campus Entrepreneurship Activities (OCEA) program. The grant is part of the Government of Ontario’s Youth Jobs Strategy, and will allow HumberLaunch to expand their programs beyond students and alumni.

HumberLaunch has also formed a new partnership with the Mississauga Research Innovation Commercialization Centre for this initiative.

HumberLaunch opened in 2011 supported by a research grant from OCE, and currently has a membership of more than 40 entrepreneurs and 20 mentors.
