The ADaPT (Advanced Digital and Professional Training) Program is up and running again this winter with workshops beginning in February.
ADaPT is a youth skills development and internship program aimed at bridging the employment gap for recent graduates. The program equips participants with practical, in-demand skills that allow for a seamless transition into the professional environment.
Participants take part in hands-on learning in the areas of digital literacy, communications, research and business financials. ADaPT offers a variety of different workshops, such as project management, financial analysis, social media analytics, big data, Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, presentation skills and more.
Throughout the program, participants are coached on career skills and given one-on-one preparation for the interview process. Following 50+ hours of skills workshops, participants will have the opportunity to compete for a professional internship placement with an industry partner. The best part of it all? There is absolutely no cost to participate in this program!
Applications are now open! Ryerson and non-Ryerson undergraduate and graduate students in their final year of study are eligible to apply for the program, as well recent graduates of arts, social sciences, humanities, design and business programs. Applicants must be under the age of 30.
Admission into the program is competitive and spots fill quickly. Visit ryerson.ca/adapt to apply by February 4.
