The Impact Centre is working with ITIC to supercharge U of T startups with over $100,000 USD of investment.
Established in 1979, Industrial Technology Investment Corporation (ITIC) is one of the oldest and most prestigous VC firms in Taiwan, investing across virtually all stages, sectors, and timezones.

The Impact Centre is helping ITIC identify promising startups from the U of T community. Interested companies founded by U of T students, alumni, or faculty can submit their busines plans for consideration. Selected finalists will present to a panel of ITIC staff who will select companies for $100,000 of investment. Additional funding may be provided depending on the business potential and market readiness of the company’s product.

“The broad network, expertise, and capital investment that ITIC brings could be a gamechanger for a Canadian startup,” said Dr. Richard McAloney, director of technology management & entrepreneurship. “This is especially true in the physical technologies with Taiwan’s access to manufacturing and supply chain expertise.”
