For the first time, the world’s leading behavioural science conference will be coming to Canada. It will be hosted by the Behavioural Economics in Action at Rotman (BEAR) research centre at the University of Toronto on July 13 and 14, 2020.
Behavioural Exchange 2020 (BX2020) brings together global experts from government, academia, and industry to explore new frontiers in this cutting-edge field. Over 500 delegates from around the globe will gather over two days to learn about the latest research and results of behavioural innovations in the areas of public health and wellness, poverty and financial well-being, diversity and inclusion, as well as environment and sustainability. The conference will also feature sessions on how best to integrate machine learning with behavioural insights, best practices in setting up behavioural teams, and the impact of behavioural insights on business and policy.
BX2020 speakers include David Halpern, Chief Executive Officer, Behavioural Insights Team; Cass Sunstein, Robert Walmsley University Professor at Harvard University; Brigitte Madrian, Dean of the Marriott School, Brigham Young University; Sendhil Mullainathan, University Professor of Computation and Behavioural Science, University of Chicago; Jiaying Zhao, Canada Research Chair in Behavioural Sustainability, UBC; and Rory Sutherland, Vice Chairman, Ogilvy.
