In just over a month, Canada’s most anticipated drone and UAV show will be taking place in the heart of Toronto. The Sky Guys, Canada’s leaders in drone services and technology, is teaming up with Cambridge House International to host the Second Annual Big Drone Show – Canada's leading trade show and conference for the commercial drone market. The two-day event will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, on September 27 and 28, and will be host to top speakers, international exhibitors, and a two-day “hackathon” showcasing upcoming industry talent from Canada's top post-secondary institutions.

Setting the stage for what is to come in the future of UAVs, this event will provide an all encompassing view of the industry from the technology itself to the various applications, showcasing the immense value drones can bring to commercial businesses. In highlighting the various industry applications, the show will provide a behind the scenes look at drone applications in energy, insurance, agriculture, mining, forestry, fisheries, construction, real estate and much more.

This year, as something new, the show will be host to the first ever Toronto Drone Film Festival. With drones offering a new way for filmmakers to capture unique clips, the idea behind the film festival is to highlight just how amazing those shots – and the worlds they reveal – can be. Submissions are currently being accepted on the Big Drone Show site with prizes (including cash and drones) available to be won!

With the success of last year, Adam Sax, Chief Executive Officer and founder of The Sky Guys, has been highly anticipating this year’s show.  “We are thrilled to be bringing leading industry experts, manufacturers and technology disruptors for Toronto’s growing tech and drone scene to build this industry together.”

Don’t miss this must attend event for anyone curious about the drone space, or looking to add the use of UAVs to their business. Discounted pre-sale tickets are still available here for a limited time, with students tickets available for as low as $30.
