Jordan Banks, the head of Facebook Canada, has announced that he’s leaving the social media giant. Banks, who oversees Instagram as well as Facebook’s Canadian operations, announced the move in an internal post that has not yet been made public.

Facebook announced a new partnership with the University of Waterloo, Harvard, Princeton and 14 other universities on Wednesday, with the intent of allowing “swifter collaboration on technology research projects,” according to The Financial Post.
