As part of the Mayor's International Business Program, Toronto Mayor Tory will lead a business delegation to Latin America from July 22nd to 31st, 2019. This mission will include working meetings with private and public-sector leaders in Brazil, Colombia, Panama and Mexico.
The focus of Mayor Tory's mission will be on engaging with industry leaders from the Infrastructure & ICT / Citytech, sectors building trade and connectivity opportunities between Toronto and Latin American markets.
Economic Development and Culture staff in partnership with the Toronto Region Board of Trade, World Trade Centre (WTC) will provide mission support in both planning and on-the-ground in each of the four countries. The program will allow companies to establish relationships with local partners and best in class subject matter experts, visit the main Smart City and sustainability hubs and have privately curated business-to-business meetings with buyers and go-to-market partners.
Toronto businesses interested in connecting and building relationships with Canadian and Latin American businesses, building and refining export strategies, and meeting one-on-one with industry buyers and partners are invited to register for the mission online. Registration will close on June 14th, 2019.
