Toronto-based proptech startup Lane is announcing that it has raised $10 million in funding. The funding will enable Lane to accelerate its global expansion (the company is currently launching with new clients in Brazil, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, and United Arab Emirates) and double its 40-person team by the end of 2020.
Lane’s workplace experience platform is the first of its kind to address the needs of the entire workplace ecosystem. It integrates building systems into a single, centralized, and user-friendly digital platform that streamlines all aspects of day-to-day office life for corporate tenants and their employees, commercial real estate companies, property managers, retail tenants, and visitors. Amid COVID-19, Lane is seeing significant demand for its platform as it enables property owners and businesses to orchestrate a safe return to work.
Lane currently powers more than 150 buildings across 15 major North American cities and is playing an instrumental role in facilitating the safe return to work in key cities throughout North America.
