The deadline is looming for the latest round of applications to the Innovate Financial Health Lab, an accelerator program geared to help early-stage fintechs.

Run by Fintech Cadence, a non-profit organization, the program will support up to eight ventures that are using technology to help Canadians improve their finances.

The IFH Lab is a free six-month program that provides access to mentors, in-person and online capacity-building sessions, a demo day, more than $100,000 in credits with service providers and the opportunity to win cash prizes.

It is open to startups that are helping to deal with critical issues Canadians face in their financial lives, such as providing access to affordable insurance, building savings or helping people get on the housing ladder.
