The Workaround, a co-working space offering workspace and support to working parents who need flexibility, is launching in Toronto's east end on October 4th, 2018.

The Workaround, located at the north east corner of Danforth Avenue and Woodbine Avenue in Toronto, aims to provide everything parents need to their best work.  Whether parents are returning to work after leave, stranded during a snow day or starting up a seven-figure empire, the Workaround has a spot ready for you.

Given the need for innovative child care solutions in Toronto, especially in the east end neighbourhoods, The Workaround exists with social purpose. It has selected social enterprise suppliers, many certified B Corps, to provide amenities and services, including:

The Workaround offers occasional child care services to parents, including children's programming led by early childhood educators. Parents remain on-site and responsible for their child(ren) at all times. The service is designed to give parents the opportunity to work, knowing their children are occupied and happy.

Programs include play-based learning, such as music, circle time, arts and crafts and free play. Registration is available for any child from six months onward.

The Workaround offers meeting rooms that can be rented by the hour, a variety of seating options and workspaces for private work, a podcast studio, and much more.

The Workaround is holding a launch party on Thursday October 4th. More information can be found online at: https://theworkaround.ca/
