CBC Toronto wants to know how small businesses are making a big difference in the Greater Toronto Area.
It is launching a new digital video series called Start-Up City that will showcase GTA businesses that are changing things up in their community or helping put the city on the map.
Start-ups that are making a difference could be featured on the upcoming series. Interested businesses can submit their stories on the CBC Toronto website. The deadline to submit is Feb. 25 at 11:59 am.
What type of stories is CBC Toronto looking for?
Start-ups and small business must be within the first 3 years of operation. Side hustles and part-time start-ups are welcome.
The business must be local to Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area (including Halton, Peel, York and Durham).
Start-Up City wants to hear about more than profit. The show is looking for stories about businesses that are making an impact and putting the city on the map. This includes organizations that are solving GTA-wide problems or otherwise doing business differently in a way that benefits more than the bottom line.
